Hi Everyone,
I am back with another card design. I just found this blog and signed on right away. The designers cards are amazing. Make sure to check them out. The Color Throw Down link below will get you there.

Here is my card for the CTD #437 challenge. Most who know me know I love stripes and polka dots. Sometime I even wear them together. Some say that it is fashion fopaux. I beg to differ. I see others wearing them together. I am sure you have too.
I always save the negatives. Lucky for me this one aligned with the colors for this challenge. The striped panel is the left over negative piece that I used the flower cut out for another card design. I placed it on a frame that I trimmed with Nuvo aqua mousse. The flower, stem and leaves were also colored with the mousse. The panel is popped up with foam tape. The flowers were die cut from the MFT stitched flower set. The sentiment is also from an MFT stamp set called Essential Sentiments.
Tip: The mousse is like emobossing paste but the consistency is a bit dryer and you can rub it on for coloring with your fingers. You don’t get the as much demensional texture as you do when using it with a stencil but you do get a nice metallic shine.
Here is the challenge photo with the color options. Beautiful flowers and a lovely color palette too.
