Here is my tag for the Tag Your It #70 challenge. For this cute elephant tag who is wild about you I used the stamp set from the SSS April card kit and a funky rubber stamp from a city scape from a Yellow Owl Workshop kit. I will be sharing a card soon from this set. On with this tag design…

Background was done with Color Box robin egg pigment dye and Memento pear tart inks. The elephant was colored with Zigg brush watercolors pink, brow gray and mid gray and fussy cut. I used a speech bubble from MFT for the sentiment that was stamped with versafine black onyx ink. Then later decided to color in the words with silver Wink of Stella. The little flowers were stamped and die cut from a lawn fawn set and lightly colored with Zigg brush watercolors – orange, violet and pink. Topped of the elephants ears with some clear Wink of Stella and the eyes are coated in Glossy Accents. Popped up just the ears, speech bubble and two flowers on foam tape.
Oh I forgot to mention the tag was a rectangle cut and then the corners were hand cut.
TIP – I used another rectangular tag die and trimmed it to fit atop this tag as it is a larger tag and the standard hold punch was too small. After I cut it down I embossed two faux stitched lines near the flat edge. I am always looking for ways to stretch my supplies and this one is a keeper. I will surely use it again.
