Hi there, Pumpkin Latte – note card.

I have been off line for a while due to a couple of wonderful back to back vacations. I had a nice trip north to Maine for Sisters weekend and then was in Nashville for a week too with my best bud otherwise known as my husband. Happy to be home for a while. I was able to get into my craft room this weekend after resting up from having so much fun while I was away.

I wanted to be sure I was able to make a card for the Coffee Loving Card Makers Fall Blog Hop that is going on now. This hop is one of the best. It has so many great sponsors and prizes as well as one of my favorite  themes…Coffee!!!

I designed my card after one of my favorites that never was posted as I made it before I started my blog. I chose this as my inspiration as I recently notice it has almost 1,000 saves at 996 on PInterest. I will include a photo of that card below also.

This design has a fall type sentiment and has a fall color palate with a little Halloween flare. Hope you like it. On with the card design and ingredients.

I started by choosing the patterned paper for the card front border. I then cut down the panel of white 80# white card stock and started by using the splatter stencil using Distress ink mixture of tea dye and vintage photo. I then stamped on scrape white the coffee cup and used the same distress ink color. The cups were then fussy cut and the edges were inked with a black Tombo marker. I chose a few fall/Halloween patterned papers for the cup sleeves. These were also fussy cut and inked in the same manner. Punched the cat and bats from black card stock. All were glued with Multi Matt Medium.

The sentiment is from two stamp sets. Sorry to report I had to do some stamp surgery. I hate to do it but for this it was necessary. As I didn’t want to risk messing up at this stage of the card. You all can relate I am sure. I added a few Nuevo drops and some wink of Stella to the cat and bat cup embellishments. The panel was glued to the diagonal striped card front and this was then glued to a 110# white top folding card base.

Ingredients:
Paper – Neenah white card stocks in 80# and 110#. Black card stock. Pebbles Boo 6×6 patterned papers.
Inks – Distress Inks in tea dye and vintage photo, Versafine Onyx black and a Tombo black marker.
Stamps: Coffee cup from SSS Feb Coffee and Tea card kit, Sentiment from MFT’s
Frightfully Fun Halloween and Perk Up.
Other tools and embellishments- Nuvo Crystal drops in dark walnut, Nuvo Jewel drops in orange marmalade, , Clear Wink of Stella, mini punches from G Studio, Tim Holtz Splatters stencil and a Mini Misti.
