Happily Ever After…Wedding Card

Hello Everyone,

It has been a busy few days getting ready for my son’s wedding. I haven’t had time to get creative lately but did need a card for the up coming nuptials so I spent some time relaxing while creating this card.

Just so happens it has flowers on it so I am sharing it now for the CAS on Friday #119 challenge. I hope they like it. On to the card design.

I used a stamp set I ordered from Neat and Tangled, called Bloom, that had sketched flower clustered border style stamp and several single flowers and leaves. I stamped the edge of some Tim Holtz water color paper with Versamark ink and white heat embossed it.

Then I used Zigg Clean Color markers and did a watercolor wash effect with alternating colors in light violet and colbalt blue. When dry I then singled out all the rose flowers and painted over it with silver Gansai Tambi watercolor.

I stamped the images and sentiment with silvery shimmer Delicata ink onto a panel of MFT sweet tooth card stock. The stamps were from a Hero Arts wedding stamp set. The panels are cut with a Sizzix die set. I cut the next to larger sized panels and layered it up on a top folded A2 white card base. That is it. Easy enough just need some drying time otherwise it was a quick and easy card design.

Be sure to check out the challenge blog for more fun and inspiration.
