You Are My Happy – Eclipse Technique

Hello Everyone,

I am back after a few days away for my son’s wedding in NY. It was a wonderful weekend and the wedding was perfect. So happy for him and his lovely bride. I had to rest up a few days before I could get back to crafting.
Here is a card I made for the TGIFC#131 and the SSS Weds – Anything goes challenge. On with the card design.

The TGIF challenge was an eclipse technique. I stamped the background with MFT’s springtime blooms and colored them in using Zigg clean color markers in light violet, light carmine, pink, Persian blue and the back ground is pale green. Splashed some black Gansai Tambi watercolor over the design. Then decided to add a splash of shine with some accent colors from Prima metallic watercolors in ultra violet infinite and blue aura.

The panel was cut with a SSS stitched rectangle. This was then layered onto a black card panel.
I cut the scripted You from the MFT you dies from the You trio die set. I layered up the cut design on 4 black die cuts.
The sentiment is from the MFT essential sentiments is stamped in Versafine Onyx black ink. I cut the You off and only used a portion of one to complete the sentiment on the card front.
The layered panel was then glue to a white care base.

Hope you heck out the challenge blogs for more fun and inspiration.
