I am on a role with the fall, winter, holiday theme. Here is a gift tag I created for a few challenges. It is fitting for the Tag You’re It challenge, The SSS Wednesday Challenge as they have teamed up with the 25 days of Christmas Tags challenge this week. The challenge can be found on Tracey McNeely blog – In My Creative Opinion. There are lots of sponsors and prizes with different ways to win. Be sure to check it out. I love tags just about as much as card making so I am sure I will be making a few more. On with the tag design.
The tag is cut from a Neat and Tangled scallop die. The snow mound is a SSS stitched hills die. The snowman is from an Art Impression set. This was stamped in Versafine Onyx black ink and colored in with watercolor pencils. The gift ribbon was done in Gansai Tambi silver water color. Once dry this was cut with the coordinating die. The sky was ink blending with Distress inks in stormy sky and cracked pistashio. I added some white Gansai Tambi splatters. Glued a few silver glitter paper snowflakes punched from a mini dollar punch that I have had for years. It is perfect for when you need a few small snowflake accents. The To: and From: are from the Beary Merry stamp set from Neat and Tangled. Finished it with a white hole punch reinforcement and some white and silver bakers twine.
Be sure to check out the challenge blogs for more fun and inspiration.
