Hello Everyone,
Happy Sunday and as usual for me it is “Funday”.. which is aka…time for crafting. I have been making tags for a hostess gift that I need soon and in between that and some laundry I made this card for this weeks Color Throw Down Challenge #469.
The post will be short as my blue tooth keyboard just broke. I will have to get a new one. On with the card design and ingredients.
I didn’t have any blue holiday DSP so I made a plaid panel. Plaid panel was created with MFT candy stripes and a SSS paint stripe stamp with Faded Jeans Oxide and Chipped sapphire Distress inks along with silver Delicata ink.
The ornament die is from Darice. It cuts, embosses and can be stenciled. I clear heat embossed over the silver Delicata ink snowflakes from Art Impressions onto dark blue card stock. I hadn’t done this before with Delicata and will definitely do it again as the shine in stunning. The panels were die cut with SSS stitched rectangles.
Tied several strains of silver embossing threads on in a messy bow and popped up the ornament with foam squares.
Be sure to check out the challenge blog for more fun and inspiration.
