Snowflake Mitten Tags and Gift Box

Hello Everyone,
I am back from my holiday vacation. I so enjoyed the time off and hope you all did as well. I didn’t have time to get crafty until today. I had started to make some tags a while back for a hostess gift and had to finish them as well as the gift box today as the holiday luncheon was today. I managed to pull it off and snapped only one photo before I left. Thankfully I thought to take the picture as they are fitting for this weeks SIP challenge #127 – All Wrapped Up.

The luncheon was delightful and we do a yankee swap every year. I had number 2 and was very pleased with my swap gift. No one traded it either so I got to go home with a lovely  tea gift set that had jams, crackers and different types of tea to enjoy. On with the gift box and tags.

The designs are self explanatory so I will just list the supplies. A few things to mention are the tag base is 3 layers to give it some substance, the mitten was a Lawn Fawn tiny tag that I carefully cut off the tag circle portion that you would string the ribbon or twine through and the backgrounds were done with this Project Life stamp roller that has various sentiments and lines for stamping. I bought it for this type of need. It is perfect for when you just need a short dotted line or dash lines.

Ingredients:
Lawn Fawn Tiny Tags
Lawn Fawn Gift Box
MFT Die-namics tag builder – Blueprints 6
Snowflake stamp from Art Impressions
SSS white embossing powder
Sizzix snowflake dies (Sizzlets)

Nuvo Jewel drops in strawberry coulis
Various colors of card stock
Various matching inks and colors of bakers twine.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check out the challenge blog for more fun and inspiration.
