Warm Wishes Coffee Christmas Card

Hello Everyone,

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Not only because of the holiday celebrations and getting to shop for family and friends but it’s also time for the Winter Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop Challenge. Anyone who knows me knows I love to shop and I love coffee themed cards.

This blog hop is such fun. They have so many fabulous prize sponsors. The gallery gets bigger and bigger every hop. You will have a great time checking out all the entries. There is just so much talent and inspiration to be found.

I made this card today for the Coffee Lover’s blog hop but will also be submitting it for the to SIP#128 – Let It Snow Challenge and the AAA #104 Christmas Challenge. You can decide what is in the cup…is it hot chocolate, Irish coffee, or maybe another specialty flavored coffee. On with the card design.

Really very simple card to make. It is mostly stenciling.
I used the Tim Holtz stencil for the pattern on the cup with some festive berries distress ink. The cup is die cut with a Jillibean die.
The red back ground was done with Hero Arts unicorn ink over some homemade stencils I made from a couple of Sizzix snowflake dies. The panel is cut with a SSS stitched rectangle die.
The sentiment is from an Art Impressions stamp set and is stamped and white heat embossed with Rangers fine white embossing powder.
The whipped cream was cut free hand and is highlighted with a silver gel pen and some Wink of Stella.
The panel is glued flat to a white top folded card base. I added some silver gel pen polka dots to the border.
The cup and whipped cream are popped up slightly with some thin foam squares. Lastly a added a few confetti sequins.

Be sure to check out the challenge blogs for more fun and inspiration.
