Hopping on quick to post one last time before the Holiday festivities begin to share this cute little tag I made for this package I am putting together for my son and his wife. I haven’t had much time for crafting. But I needed to make a few tags for these hot chocolate gifts. It started when I found these adorable marshmallow letters. Then I found a package of the hot chocolate temperature sensing spoons. The spoons turn white if it is too hot and retutn to red if the temperature is right. I broke down the six pack of spoon to make 3 gifts. I thought it would be cute to tie them together with a tag. Here is the tag, 2 spoons and the marshmallows. not shown are the Cocoa sleeves that will be included as part of the gift.
I wished I could have found letters for all my family members but I wasn’t able to. On with the tag design.
This was easy Peasy. Stamped the mug and sentiment from Lawn Fawn Love You a Latte set in Memento rich Cocoa ink. The holly stamp is from Stampin Up. The set has 56 little tiny stamps. They are great for when you need a little image for filling in designs or in a small space like on this cup design. I masked the cup and used some Marvy markers to color the stamp with the green and just used the red directly on the paper. A little gray on the marshmallows and brown on the cocoa.
Cut the rectangle down and used some holiday DSP from Pebbles for the background border. Added some red gel pen dots on the holly and added a little clear Wink of Stella on the cocoa. A red circle punched for the hole punch. Tied the spoons to the tags with some green silk May Arts ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by and as always I appreciate your kind comments.
Enjoy and Merry Christmas ~ Pat
