You’re My Person – Friendship Card

Hello Everyone,

Hope your weekend was fantastic. I spent most of it reorganizing my craft room. I have moved everything I use most of the time to within my desk or within arms reach. Hope this helps with efficiency. Anyway after all that I did have time for one card. I saw the colors on this weeks CTD #481 challenge and just had to make a card. Style is an informal grunge using the stamp set from the SSS March card kit. So I will enter it in the SSS Monday challenge too. On with the card design and ingredients.

Stamped the MFT Written in Watercolor sentiment on Smooth Bristol paper. Then sponged it is Distress oxide in Wilted Violet. Used the stamps from SSS Choose Joy set by first lifting off some color with just stamping water. Let this dry and then went back over it with the same ink. Cut the panel down glue it to a brown card stock.

The card base is Neenah desert storm that was distress around the edges with Oxide in Vintage Photo. Then I cut some flowers from cream card stock from the SSS Modern Flowers die. These were glued to the edge of the card base and trimmed off. The sentiment panel was popped up on foam squares.
