Hello Everyone,
Sharing a card I made using the SSS March card kit for the SIP#140 Four Legged Friends Challenge. Bunnies are just so cut. As I am writing this it reminds me of a story of when my daughter was babysitting as a teenager and called me nervous about sounds coming from the basement. I drove to the home to investigate. You can guess what we found…it was a bunny running around inside a cage. No one had mentioned that it was down there. Certainly we were very glad that was all it was. Now on with the card design and ingredients.
Did a little masking by stamping the bunny first. Stamped on post it paper and fussy cut a mask. Then stamped the boots and a few carrots onto Bristol smooth white paper. The images were colored with Prisma colored pencils. Also used a Zigg brush marker in green gray for the ground. Stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx black ink.
The panel was glued to a pattern paper card front. Also used a frame cut with a SSS stitched rectangle. Lastly added a few more fussy cut carrots and a Pom Pom tail that I colored a bit with a brown colored pencil around the edges and of course a few touches of Wink of Stella over the carrots, flowers and boots.
Be sure to check out the challenge blog for more fun and inspiration.
Thanks again for stopping by and as always I appreciate your kind comments.
Today is the last day for my Blogaversary give away. If you haven’t had a chance to check out that post you can find it here.
Enjoy ~ Pat
