Mom’s Day Card

Hello Everyone,

Sharing another recent card I made for the CAS on Friday (Mom) challenge, the Color Throw Down challenge and SSS Monday challenge (Trio of Something – I used 3 stamps sets for a 3 step sentiment). It a pretty Mom’s day card. I used the Altenew layered rose dies again, to make an embellishment. Love that die set. On with the design and ingredients.

I started with the rose dies and layered in red and pinks. I covered it in glossy accents.
I used the SSS postage stamp dies to create the main panel. The black and white card front is from the black and white 6×6 MFT paper pack. The sentiment strip is a scrap strip left over. This was a tone on tone effect created with a flower stencil and Versamark ink. The banner sentiment is outlined in the aqua pencil too. The sentiment stamps are from SSS stitched alphabet set, a MFT set and a hero arts holidays block set.

The MOM is colored with an aqua Prisma colored pencil. Decided on placement and glued them in place then added a few red enamel dots and a red and pink enamel button.

Be sure to check out the challenge blogs for more fun and inspiration.
