Flowered Coffee Note Card

Hello Everyone,

Hope you had a nice weekend and Mother’s Day. Had some fun in my craft room today. Here is one card that I finished up. It’s a pretty coffee themed note card. I will be sending it out for a swap I am in. On with the card design and ingredients.

I used pattern paper from the SSS May card kit in the ombre pattern from the 6×6 paper pack from Let your Heart Decide by Pinkfresh Studio. The focal panel is Tim Holtz watercolor paper. I used the Stamp set from the SSS May card kit – Everything Together. The Flowers’s are stamped in SSS hybrid ink in catkin and apricot.

I first stamped the design on the panel and did a little masking to have some of the leaves behind the flower. I also die cut a cup from the Paper Smooches coffee and tea set and re-stamped the design on the cup so I could’ve overlay it in the same position. The cup is popped up on foam squares. The coffee sentiment is from Sweet Stamp Shop cuppa coffee stamp and die set. I stamped it in Versafine vintage sepia and used the coordinating die.

I used a brown card stock panel for a partial border panel and added Nuevo drops in Dark Walnut to the flower centers.

Submitting this card to the SSS Monday ombre challenge.
