Hello Everyone,
Sorry to see the weekend coming to an end. I would have like to get a few more cards made. But I did have time for one more card that was made in between chasing around an almost 3 year old. I am just a wee bit tired but wanted to get this card posted up and shared for a few challenges.
It’s a clean and simple card that would be nice as a Thank You, Friendship or Sharing Kindness card.
As noted this is a CAS style card on Neenah desert storm card base. Aside from the heart sentiment die cut this is a one layer card that is just stamping and coloring.
I used the SSS stamp set from the May card kit – Take heart stamp set for both the image and the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment in Ranger Archival ink and the image is stamped in Distress tea dye ink.
The coloring is done with Prisma colored pencils in Light aqua, teal blue, lemon peel, apple green, white, ginger root, beige, Warm gray and a colorless blender pencil.
I did create a mass for the vase and drew the line with a ruler in the gray pencil to create the table appearance to ground the image. The word heart has a little clear Wink of Stella on it. Lastly the flower centers have a Nuvo Jewel drop in Sea breeze.
Be sure to check out the challenge blogs for more fun and inspiration.
