Let’s Get A Cup Of Coffee.

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all had a fabulous long weekend. I was doing some organizing in my craft room and not much card making. Today I did get another coffee card done. I wanted to get a few posted this week before the Coffee Lovers 

Blog Hop is over. This is my second entry. 

This card would have been fitting for last weeks SSS Monday challenge as it was songs related. Yes I am sure you are wondering how a coffee card can be inspired by a song. Well here is a song that has been stuck in my head off and on since hearing it playing in a small coffee shop near by. The song is called The Coffee Song by Frank Sinatra.. I am humming it right now.. “oh oh…there’s an awful lot of coffee in Brazil…..” It is a catchy tune. Sorry I missed that one. It does fit for the Weds challenge as I did uses more than on stamp. On with the card design and ingredients.

This card is a lot of die cutting and some pretty patterned papers with lots of layers and dimension. 

Papers: Neenah 110# for the card base. Echo Park Summer Dream 6×6 pack for card front, cups and strip. SSS Audrey blue and slate gray. Paper doily.

Inks: Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries for the doily. Cracked pistachio for the circle on the cup. Versafine Onyx black. 

Stamps and dies: Sizzix coffee stamp and die set. Sizzix coffee confetti die for the small cup. Sizzix corner frame die. MFT take out coffee cup die.

Other: Silver wink of Stella on the cups lid and sleeve. Pom Pom lace. 

The decorative corner is about 5 die cuts layered to create some dimension. The strip with the Pom Pom lace is on thin foam squares and the cup is on thin foam squares near the bottom and thicker foam squares at the top. The circle and little cup are also popped up on foam squares. 

Just love these colors and the geometric pattern paper on the cup along the contrasting soft painted brushstrokes in the patterned paper strip with all the coordinating flecks of color. This is one of my favorite color combinations. Hope you like it.

  3. This is SO pretty! I love how you added the colors at the bottom and how it stained your doily pink. That’s SO awesome. LOVE the adorable coffee cup, too, and how you decorated everything and put it all together. Super cute card!
