Hello Everyone,
I am glad to be back and sharing a recent card I made. I have been offline for a while due to some extended travel and then prepping for a local community farmers market show where I shared a booth with my sister. It was so much fun. The turn out was wonderful and we had such a great time. I will plan to share more on that in a future post. On with the card design and ingredients.
The card itself is mostly just stamp and die cutting but I wanted to elaborate on the turn about stamp. This is a fun stamp that once you get the center X lines drawn on the back of it with a permanent marker you can just turn the paper in a stamp positioning tool and repeat the stamping on all 4 sides to get the full design. It does come with a guide and you can also download one too,. It is a great way to layer different colors.
Card base is an A2 top folded card in SSS green apple card stock.
White panel is stamped with the Concord & 9th bitty burst turn about Stamp.
The scallop focal panel was cut with a Neat & Tangled die after stamping.
I used the MFT You’re the Sweetest Stamp and Die set.
Cherry is a piece of left over scrap of an alcohol ink panel. The cupcake bottom is stamped in SSS hybrid Twirling Tutu.
The background is stamped in SSS hybrid inks in Duckling, Willow, Catkin and Jellybean.
The frosting has Wink of Stella in clear and a touch of silver in the frosting corner grooves.
The cupcake pieces are glued to a small card stock panel strip and popped up on foam squares.
