Get Well Soup-er Soon!

Hi Everyone,

I have a cute Get Well card to share today. This one is a real punny one. It is perfect for some a bit under the weather. It’s a sweet design on the fun side too.

I will be linking it to a couple challenges. The SSS Monday for Monochrome theme and SIP for using background stamps. On with the design and ingredients.

It is a white A2 top folded card. With a pale blue card base trimmed slightly to create a border.

I used the same blue card stock to create the pretty floral background with the SSS Modern Rose Bloom background stamp from the August card kit. I stamped this in Versamark and white heat embossed it. Trimmed it to fit just a bit smaller than the white panel.

The sentiment and soup bowl are from a Jillibean Soup stamp set. Stamped in Versafine Onyx black and colored with distress inks in a watered down mix of blues peacock feathers, salty ocean  and antique linen. The soup and bowl have clear Wink on them.

The spoon is a Lawn Fawn die from Love you A latte. This is cut from the blue and then a silver glitter paper to create several layers for added dimension then covered with glossy accents for more shine.

The sentiment panel was wrapped with blue and white twine and then popped up with foam squares.

Added a few confetti sequins to top it off.

Be sure to check out the challenge blogs for more fun and inspiration.
