Happy Haunting

Hi Everyone.

Happy World Card Making Day. Happy Haunting is my card to share for today. You would think being a card maker I would have several celebration cards to share today but I only have this one and I think it’s a cutie. I am still in the Halloween card making mode. Although today I have spent most of the day cataloging my craft room in Evernote.

I have been working on this project for several hours over time and still have a bit more to do. Once it is done it will be worth it as I will know what I have and won’t be searching for things or buying duplicates. At least that is what I hope. Well on with the design and ingredients.

It’s a shaker. I haven’t made one in the longest time. I had the panel left over from a card from last year. You can see that on here. Crazy that it was still in good shape.

Stamps and Dies: Taylored Expressions – cutting edge ghosts and the fence is from the Build a Scene Calendar set.

The panel is distress inks in wilted violet, faded jeans and peeled paint. The ghosts have a little watered down gray marker from Marvy wash on them. Versafine Onyx black was used for the sentiment.

The shaker bits are beads from the Halloween mix from last years SSS kit and a few added sequins in matching colors. I used foam tape and a piece of Heidi Swapp acetate and put it all together on a black panel then attached it to a purple card from on an A2 110# Neenah white card base.

Linking to the SIP #170 color challenge this week.
