Happy Sunday! It fun day for me as I have been playing in my craft room today. I was able to get these tags made today. I like to have sets available for hostess gifts, service provider gifts or to use for gift bags. Here is the first set made for this year. On with the tag designs and ingredients.
I used a holly leaves mini designer template stencil from Kaisercrafts. Colored with Tombo markers then went over the leaves with water brush to give it a smoother watercolor look.
I cut the tag design with a Taylored Expression die from Build a tag 1 Set. Then recut just the tops from some American Crafts metallic paper. Cut small strip in coordinating color. Cut the small tree from a MFT trees die.
Glued them altogether and popped up the tree with foam squares. I cut another tag to glue to the back just to give it some substance and a finished look and space to write on. Used some red and green shiny cord to finish off the tags.
I will be linking up to todays 18 of the Tracey McNeely’s 25 days of Christmas Tags. My tag is actually inspired by her tag created for day 14 with Holly leaves as well as many others. Two holly ones in particular were entry 299 Julie P day and Kellianne #371 for day 17. But really each and every tag entered are amazing. I just love all the designs. I have thoroughly enjoyed following along and being inspired by the wonderful designers and all the entries. Be sure to check it out.
In addition I will be linking to the Wednesday SSS challenge – All That Glitters is Gold.
Be sure to check out the challenge blogs for more fun and inspiration.
