Sweet Christmas Tag

Hello Everyone,

Happy Black Friday. Doing some early on-line shopping and gearing up for a day of crafting.

Here is a tag I put together using this beaded candy embellishment I made a few days ago. On with the design and ingredients. 

The die used is from Taylored Expression. There are 3 different candy designs, a lollipop stick and the candy wrapper tails. You can die cut them to make some sweet shaker type designs. I chose to make this beaded embellishment by filling the cut out portions with clear beads and covering them with glossy accents. 

The ether background and sentiment stamps are from a big box gingerbread man store set. I think maybe from Joann’s or similar store. 

I used the MFT cross stitch tag die set. A scrap of green and black herringbone plaid paper and Gina K’s Red Velvet. 

Inks were Versafine Onyx black and Catherine Pooler rockin red. 

I will be linking up to today’s # 23 of the Tracey McNeely’s 25 days of Christmas Tags. My tag is actually Inspired by many of the tags with a simple stamped background and a bold embellishment. Particularly tag# 481 by Susan Renshaw her red, white and green stripes it had a Christmas candy like feel As well as Carol Maine’s stocking tag where she used the MFT cross stitched tag die. All the tags are amazing and so inspiring. I will be sorry to see it end in a couple of Days. I just love all the designs. I have thoroughly enjoyed following along and being inspired by the wonderful designers and all the entries. Be sure to check it out.
