Hello Everyone.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. That is because it is time for the Coffee Lovers Blog hop. I am excited to share my first card for the hop. This hop is so much fun. There are so many generous sponsors and the inspiration is incredible. Even if you don’t like coffee the designs are so fun. Be sure to hop over and check it out. On with the card design and ingredients.
So the card started with a strip of plaid paper I had left over from another project where I made plaid panels for gift bags. The plaid was created with an MFT background stamp called Candy Stripes BG builder. I used Versafine Onyx black ink on some GinaK cherry red card stock. You can see one of the bags behind the card in one of the photos. That was my jumping point.
The stamped Holly Jolly mugs are from the SSS/GinaK set. They are stamped with Catherine Pooler’s rockin red ink. The rest of the sentiment is from a Hero arts “Merry” stamp and cut set. It is stamped and white heat embossed on a strip of MFTs black card stock.
The back ground panel is some white Bristol smooth papers that is embossed with this beautiful Sizzix 3D embossing folder.
This is quite the dimensional card. Everything is layered up on foam squares and tape. To top it off I used a few red Nuvo drops.
