Hello Everyone.
It’s still the most wonderful time of the year. That is because it is time for holiday cards and the Coffee Lovers Blog hop. I am excited to share my second card for the hop.
I know I am repeating myself but this hop is so much fun. There are so many generous sponsors and the inspiration is incredible. You will find designs with a coffee, tea or cocoa themes. Be sure to hop over and check it out. On with the card design and ingredients.
For this one I used a stamp and matching die set from MFT called Hug in a Mug and Hot Cocoa Cups. I created to backgrounds. One with the sprinkles for the border panel stamped with Hero Arts Unicorn ink. The white center panel is stamped with the little elements from the stamp set in Catherine Poolers inks in Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt. I also used a little star lite candy from a Hampton Arts set and stamped it in Catherine Pooler rockin red. The sentiment is stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink.
I used the dies and cut the mugs from some patterned paper from a 6×6 Pebbles pack called Welcome Christmas. The red and green card stock is from Gina K. The cocoa liquid is die cut from a strip of paper left over from another card that was Neenah Desert Storm that was splattered with Copic Opaque white. I backed the patterned paper with a green die cut mug to give it some dimension.
The mugs are popped up on foam squares.
Topped it off with a few Green Nuvo Glitter crystal drops and the cocoa is covered in Nuvo Crystal glaze.
