Irish Coffee….please.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. It is cold and snowy here so I stayed in all day and played with a new stamp set. I made this card for a swap but am sharing today because I will be linking it to several challenges.

I don’t usually post swap card but I don’t think the recipient will see it. I could not resist this cute Llama. Hope you like it as much as I do. On with the design and ingredients.

This was such a fun card to make and I used a variety products to pull it together.

Paper: Neenah Desert Storm, Tim Holtz Watercolor paper, Green card stock and Neenah 110# white.

Stamps: SSS Wooly Lucky set from the March 2019 kit, Sweet Stamp Shop Cuppa Coffee set, MFT Perk Up set and a Hero Arts alphabet set.

Dies: MFT speech bubble and a Darice square die.

Other: Nuvo Glitter drops in sunlit meadow and wink of Stella pen for a few of the shamrocks.

Inks: Zigg Clean Color brush markers, Versafine Onyx black, Versafine Sepia, SSS Lucky and Jelly Bean.

I started with the watercolor paper. Stamped the llama in Versafine sepia. Colored him in with the Zigg Clean Color brush markers. I stamped off a mug from the Sweet Stamp Shop Cuppa Coffee set. Colored that as well with the brush markers and fussy cut it out. I was going to put the cup on his back then decided to place it next to him. I stamped the smallest shamrock on the cup and the speech bubble. The speech bubble edges are distressed with SSS lucky ink. I stamped the steam from the MFT set onto the panel in Jelly Bean and glued the cup over it. The panels and cup are glued flat and the speech bubble sentiment is glues with some thin foam squares for just a little dimension. Lastly I added the Nuvo drops.

The inside has the word “please” stamped in the center. Like he is asking for some Irish Coffee.
