Hello Everyone. I hope you were able to do something fun this weekend. I was able to get into my craft room yesterday and start some spring cards. Here is one I will be linking to this weeks SIP challenge. I tried a new technique.
Hope you like this one. On with the design and ingredients.
I had seen a you tube by Yana Smakula. It was About uses for Nuvo drops and she profiled a friend who used them like paste with a stencil.
I couldn’t wait to try it so I created the shiny egg panel using that technique. I love the way it came out on the striped patterned paper. The bunny was colored with Prisma colored pencils and blended with Gamsol.
The rest is basically just die cuts, layering, a stamped sentiment and more Nuvo drops.
Ingredients:
Papers – Echo Park PP from Celebrate Easter pad, SSS gray, Neenah 110# White, pink and yellow scraps.
Stamp – Sunny Studio Chubby Bunnies Stamp and die set. Lawn Fawns Happy everything.
Die – Taylored Expression Flowers and stems.
Ink – Versafine Onyx black and Archival Gray. Prisma colored pencils. MFT grout gray for the discrete background stamping on the white card base.
Stencil- SSS flowered egg stencil.
Nuvo drops in sherbet shimmer glitter and black ebony .
Linking to SIP use Plaid/Stripes.
Be sure to check out the challenge blog for more fun and inspiration.
Thanks so much for stopping by and as always I appreciate your kind comments. Be sure to subscribe/follow along for future blog posts.
Enjoy ~ Pat
