Happy Mother’s Day Card using Spring Shower Cover Die

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all having a wonderful Mother’s Day!

Sharing this recent card and will be linking it to the challenges below. I found this really awesome cover die plate at an equally awesome store in New Hampshire called Butterfly Reflections. Great store and owner and well worth the drive. 

On with the design and ingredients.

Paper: MFT Craft, Neenah 80# White.

Ink/coloring medium: Distress ink in worn lipstick for flower centers. Archival pink peony for the sentiment.

Stamps: Hero Arts Mother’s Day set.

Dies: Altenew Spring Shower cover die.

Embellishments: pink gem mix.

I used just a few of the flowers. Popped them up on foam squares for some interesting dimension. Embellished them with some pink ink and gems and added a few clear gems around too. Finished it off with the sentiment strip. Don’t you just love this color combination?
