Beach Retirement Card

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well. It has been so long since I have posted or shared my makes on line. I have been traveling and have a new grand baby that has occupied some of my time. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been crafting cards. I have done several that were commissioned or I needed them for my own personal use and time was limited to share.

I have also challenged myself to bulk up my supply so I am not trying to put together a card last minute.

I hope to get back to sharing and linking up to some of my favorite card challenges as they help to inspire and keep the mojo going.  This card was so fun to make. I recently got the built a background stamp and couldn’t wait to try it. Love it @ tayloredexpressions.com. On with the designs and ingredients.

Sharing this recent card and will be linking it to the challenge below.

On with the design and ingredients.

Paper: Neenah 80# for front. Neenah desert storm for base. The chair is a wood grain specialty paper from Paper Source with a dark brown card stock layer behind it. The toys and umbrella were Bristol Smooth.

Dies: Creative Expressions Tropical collection – On the Beach.

Embellishments: Nuvo Crystal glaze for the toys and the top of the umbrella and clear Wink of Stella on the waves. The Chair and the pail are popped up on pieces of foam tape.
