Hi Everyone,
Have you seen all the cute tags in the gallery over at the 25 Days Of Christmas Tags hop that Tracey Mcneey does every year. They are fantastic. I have been admiring them all for the past 21 days. Just a few more days to go.
I have another one to add to the gallery that was inspired by a tag from day 14 done by Carol. The mitten tag from Paper Sweeties added onto another tag was so clever. So pulled out the same mitten tag die and put together this cute shiny tag.
Sharing this tag here and will be linking it to the challenge hop link below.
On with the design and ingredients.
Paper: Gold and Craft from American Crafts. Gold from American Crafts. White 80# white and Gina K red velvet.
Ink: Versafine Onyx black.
Dies: Taylored Expressions Build a Tag 2 set. Paper Sweeties mitten Tag.
Embossing Folder: Kiasercraft snowflakes.
Stamps: Simon Says Stamp – Tiny Words Christmas.
Embellishments: snowflake punch from big box store, red Stickles, a gold gel pen for the stitching, ribbons in red and gold and bakers twine.
The Paper Sweetie die set comes with a Christmas tree too. I will be sure to use that one this season as well.
The Build a Tag set tag was a bit smaller than I needed. I was able to make it longer by doing the partial die cutting technique. Such a great way to extend the use of you dies. The tricky part with this one was cutting two exactly the same as I backed the die with the red card stock.
Be sure to check out the blog hop for more fun and inspiration.
