Pretty Pastel Mixed Media Valentine Card

Hi Everyone,

I have a mixed media valentine to share today that I will link to the SSS Monday challenge -All Loved Up. It won’t be a long post only a long list of products as I used 20+ to produce this pretty pastel card. It really was not difficult it just took time as there was some drying time between some of the mediums used. Hope you like it. On with the design and ingredients.

This is a little different style for me but sure was a lot of fun to make. I started with a messy water color wash background. Then stamped or stenciled various hearts and script in various inks. Die cut the panel did some splatters. Heat embossed the embellishments and popped up on foam squares added a few Nuvo drops some tiny die cut hearts from a scrap of the water color paper and called it done.

Stamps: Hero Arts manuscript background, Reverse Confetti whole lotta hearts, Stampabilities alpha stamps.

Dies: Lawn Fawn Valentine borders for the tiny hearts, Reverse confetti heart dies used one inside the other to create the heart outline, Pretty Pink Posh border dies.

Stencil: MFT Hearts

Inks: Distress ink in Worn lipstick and Festive berries, Archival ink in picked raspberry and hickory smoke, Distress oxide in cracked pistachio. Copic opaque white, Versamark.

Other embellishments: Wow embossing powder in Peppermint tea, Nuvo glitter drops in sunlit meadow and Nuvo crystal drops in liquid mercury. Foam squares.

Paper: Bristol smooth white, Neenah Desert Storm, Pale green card stock.
