Born to Explore Birthday Card

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all having a great week. I can now share this recent card as the recipient has received it. It was a card I made for my son’s birthday.

He like to wander and takes photographs of scenes and interesting subjects he comes across in his limited spare time. I thought this card design was fitting for him.

I will be linking it to the challenges below.

On with the design and ingredients.

Paper: Simon Says Stamp colored Card stocks. Strip of Sizzix brite ons simmery paper.

Ink/coloring medium: Distress oxides in worn lipstick, scattered straw, peeled paint, iced spruce and broken china. Versafine Onyx black and Versamark.

Stamps: American Crafts/Pink Paislee – Horizon for the globe, flag and born to explore, Heffy Doodle for the camera and sentiment, Kaisercraft mountain air for the compass and tire tracks.

Dies: SimonSays Stamp Postage stamp

Stencil: Wavy stencil from a food stencil set for cake decorating.

Embellishments: Black and white twine. Nuvo Crystal drops in sunlit meadow. Extra fine white embossing powder.
