Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well and doing the best you can during this difficult time we are all experiencing around the world today. I know it isn’t easy for many and it has made me think about sending more cards and trying to stay connected. I am trying to get as many cards made and sent to let my friends and loved ones to let them know I am thinking of them. I have this card to share today.
On with the design and ingredients.
I colored the flower with a water color using Arteza colored pencils and then added highlights and shading for dimension with colored pencil. Fuzzy cut it out and used a black tombo marker to darken up the edges. When all was dry I painted over it with Nuvo Dream drops in Dragon scales. It gives it a nice sparkly shine. Then used some of the Copic Opaque White for the drops in the center of the flower. I wasn’t a fan so I went over them with Nuvo Jewel Drops in Strawberry Coulis.
I will be linking it to the challenges below.
Ingredients:
Paper: SSS Peach card stock, Bristol Smooth white, Neenah 110# white.
Ink/coloring medium: Gina K Amalgam Black and Versafine Onyx black, Distress Ink in festive berries, colored pencils and Copic opaque white
Stamps: Stampendous and SSS Simple Sentiments.
Dies: MFT blueprints 33.
Embellishments: cream enamel dot, Nuvo Jewel drops, Nuvo Dream Drops, foam squares.
