Hello Everyone. Hope you are all doing ok. I am still making encouragement cards and sharing a few here and there. Trying to stay positive and upbeat during this very tough time we have all been trust into can be hard. How are you all coping? I am thankful for a hobby I can access from home and for the internet that allows us to stay connected to family and friends.
Hope you can find some amusement in the card I made. I was inspired by a similar card design I saw on the internet. More on that below.
Sharing this fun card and will be linking it to the challenges below.
On with some exciting new, the design and ingredients.
First the new..I am excited to share that I was a top pic at the Kraft Chick Challenge last week. Link over to see the fantastic design teams work and the gallery of inspiration and the top pics. Link found below.
If you missed my post last week you can find it here.
Now the design and ingredients.
I had to do a little stamp surgery and masking to combine the stamps to get the design I was going for. I use a little Wink of Stella over the TP shading. The back ground was stenciled twice first lightly with the unicorn ink then slightly shifted and inked again a little darker.
The inspiration piece was a card created by this clever card maker Jade Lupinski. She had taken the bunny stamp and added the dots to the pile of marshmallows and turned them into rolls of toilet paper. I just thought it was so ingenious and fun I had to case it.
Paper: Neenah Desert Storm, Neenah 80# white and black card stock.
Ink/coloring medium: Prisma colored pencils, Ranger Distress Archival Hickory Smoke, Hero Arts Unicorn and Versafine Onyx black ink.
Stamps: Stamping Bella – Gnomes Have Feelings Too and Sweet Stamp Shop Marshmallow Holiday.
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities labels one.
Stencil: Taylored Expressions scattered stars.
Embellishments: Black and White washi tape, Wink of Stella and Nuvo Crystal Drops in black.

Thanks so much Leanne. Haha. He look like a lot of men who are enjoying not shaving due to working from home status. My hubby is one of them. He hasn’t had a beard in over 30 years. 🙂💕
