Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well. Happy Easter and Happy Passover to all who celebrate. We Celebrate Easter here but I had lost my Easter crafting mojo. I just wasn’t feeling it. I was busy making encouragement cards and the time slipped away until this morning. I was coming into the craft room to finish up a card and saw this TE stamp set to make Easter tags so I thought I would play around with it. To have a few tags for treat bag just in case I needed them.
So glad I did the tags came out so cute and a bonus idea came to mind as I was making the tags. So I also made a cute little memory game for my grandson that is super cute too. Photos below.
On with the designs and ingredients.
The tags would have been easier had I bought the TE tag team die. I will be ordering that now. How I did this was I stamped rows of the patterned squares then cut them with the MFT die and then added the little stamped elements. Then finished of the ends with either a grommet or a hole reinforcer. I was only going to make a couple but they were just so cute I keep going and made several.
Then I got the idea to use he little elements to create a fun little inchie Easter Memory game for my almost 5 years old grandson. I just cut the one sided patterned paper and stamped the image on the opposite side. Once dry I laminated them and cut them free hand. The fit nicely into this cute Lawn Fawn tiny gift box.
Paper: LF rainbow from a 6×6 pad for game and Neenah 80# white.
Ink/coloring medium: Gina K, Simon Says Stamp and Versafine Onyx black.
Stamps: Taylored Expressions -tag team Easter.
Dies: Mft tag builder blue print #6 for the hole enforcer and blue prints #27 for the tags. Lawn Fawn tiny gift box to hold the game. Lawn Fawn mini Easter Egg dies for the box decoration.
Embellishments: Grommets and Linen Twine. A laminator for the memory game.
I filled a reusable stand up plastic mason jar bag with Jelly Bellies added a ribbon and a tag.
