Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well and finding things to do that bring you joy.
I had fun earlier today making home made pasta with my husband who does all the cooking and is really good at it. He has been off pasta and breads for quite some time so he hasn’t made the wonderful home made breads and pastas in ages. Today I am lucky as we will be having Alfredo for dinner. Dinner is hanging out to dry so I thought I would write up this post to share this spring encouragement card that I will be linking it to the challenges below. I took a few photos of the pasta making process and will share those as well.
On with the design and ingredients.
Ingredients:
Paper: Simon Says Stamp gray card stock for the base. Bristol smooth for the card front, aqua card stock and a scrap of vellum and black card stock.
Ink/coloring medium: Versafine Onyx black, Zigg light green and pale green makers and Arteza watercolor pencils in smoke gray, chrome yellow, aquamarine and lavender.
Stamps: Sentiment is from MFT – you’re the sweetest. Background stamp is PinkFresh Studio Enchanted blooms.
Dies: SSS stitched rectangles and PinkFresh Studio classic word dies.
Embellishments: Wink of Stella pen on the hello and a few Nuvo Jewel drops in Sea Breeze.
I am really looking forward to dinner tonight. As promised here is dinner drying on the line and a few snap shots of the “making” process.

Lovely card, I love your springy paper and big sentiment! And I had to giggle when you said “Dinner is hanging on the line”! I have never made pasta before but it looks delish! Thanks for playing with our challenge at The Card Concept this week!

Thanks very much LeAnne. The homemade pasta was delicious and there was enough to freeze a batch for a second dinner. It is quite the system we use.
