Hello Everyone. Happy Sunday. I am still at it and continuing to make encouragement cards. Hope you are all well and enjoying this lovely day. Yesterday we woke to a snowy day and had probably 4-5 inches of snow that fell during the night and day. Today it is 60 degrees and the sun is shining and most of the snow is gone. That is my kind of snow storm. Pretty to look at as it falls then gone the next day. Yay.
Sharing this card I made last night I had stamped the design a few weeks ago but just got to coloring it up last night and I had this rainbows strip left over sitting on my work station and thought it worked well for the design. I will be linking it to the challenges below.
On with the design and ingredients.
Paper: Neenah 80# and 110# white.
Ink/coloring medium: Versafine Onyx black, Distress Oxides – the focal panel is broken china and mowed lawn. The left over strip is Shaded lilac, Wilted violet, Mowed lawn, Squeezed lemonade, Ripe persimmons, Festive Berries. The little girl and flowers were colored with Arteza water colored pencils and an aqua brush.
Stamps: MFT Besties and matching dies
Dies: Mft Cute Cloud Outlines
Embellishments: White gel pen for the small flower centers.
Be sure to check out the challenge blogs for more fun and inspiration.
The photo colors is what inspired me to use these colors for this sketch design.
