CAS Sympathy Card

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well and had a wonderful weekend. I have been busy making encouragement cards and have neglected some other card categories that need replenishing so i have started to make a few sympathy cards and will share one here today. I am not a big fan of making these but as we all know we will need one at some point. I don’t want to be scrambling at the last minute to pull on together.

I used the FMS challenge sketch and the flowers at the Inkaspirational challenge as my inspiration for an opportunity to make a CAS style card for this sympathy card.

On with the design and ingredients.

Paper: Neenah 110# white card base. 80# for die cuts and a strip of black card stock.
Ink/coloring medium: Archival xyz, Versafine onyx black, Distress Oxide in wilted violet and squeezed lemonade

Stamps and dies: Concord and 9th – Fine Line Florals.

Embellishments: Wink of stella pen and a silver gel pen to add some dots to the black splatter stamped behind the flower.
