Keep Calm Gnome Matter What – Drink Coffee

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well. I have been having fun making coffee themed cards this week for all different occasions. It has been so much fun. I have one more for the Coffee Loving Card Maker hop that is ending tomorrow. It is what I am calling a coffee themed encouragement card.

I will be linking it to a few challenges as the design if fitting for them as well. Links are below.

On with the design and ingredients.

The design is fairly self explanatory as you go through the ingredients. I figured out where the opening was created the background shading for the gnome. Then glued the blue panel  flat to card front. The gnome is popped up on these foam squares.

The foam squares I used are my favorite. You ever have favorites and then they change it or don’t make it anymore. It is disappointing but I generally find what I end up with is ok too after a while. These were from Scotch 3m and are called pop ups. They are different from other foam squares. I bought about 8 packages several years ago and when I started running low (2 packages left) I tried to find more and couldn’t. I guess they don’t make them anymore. I have been using them sparingly and now have about 10 squares left. I do have plenty of other types and a huge roll of the 3m tape but I like these the best. Guess I will be on a quest to find my new favorite now.

Ingredient:

Paper: Neenah 110# white card base and 80# for Focal design element. Simon Says Audrey Blue card stock

Ink/coloring medium: Versafine Onyx black ink, Distress Oxide in broken china for background pattern, Prisma Colored pencils for Gnome and coffee cup. A very light back ground brushed on with Gina k key lime and sea glass.

Stamps: Stamping Bella- Gnomes have feeling too. Taylored Expressions – Happy Flowers background stamp.

Dies: Spellbinders oval and the small cup from Sizzix impresslets coffee cup set. MFT heart confetti from Blueprints tag builder 6 set.

Embellishments: Sparkling clear confetti from Pretty Pink Posh, Wink of Stella pen on the heart and label using a dymo maker.
