Reely Big Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well. It has been a while since I have posted anything. I haven’t been crafting as much lately but had to make a few birthday cards and here it’s one of them. I am excited to share this recent card using the new Tim Holtz Speckled Egg distress inks and glaze.

I will be linking it to the challenges below.

On with the design and ingredients.

Paper: 80# and 110# Neenah white.

Ink/coloring medium: Speckled egg distress ink and Cracked pistachio distress inks. Archival hickory smoke.

Stamps: Sentiment and some fish and supplies are from a set from a company that no longer is in business. Some fish are from a Simon Says Stamp set called  One Cool Pineapple from 2018. Hero Arts bubble bold background stamp.

Dies: Matching dies for the fishing supplies and the circles are from the Sunny Studio staggered circle die.

Embellishments: Speckled egg distress glaze and Studio Katie bubble drops.

Stamped the background in speckled egg distress ink. Once dried is swiped the ink over the panel with a sponge scrap. The fish were stamped with the speckled egg distress ink. As an after thought I wanted to heat emboss them so I used an embossing pen then heat embossed with the Speckled egg glaze. Then sponged a circle of both the speckled egg and cracked pistachio distress ink.

The silver embellishments were stamped in the gray ink and then traced over with a silver gel pen.

The circles are glued flat and the silver embellies are popped up.
