Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well. It’s that time of year again. You will be seeing a few coffee cards from me. The Coffee Loving Blog Hop has started. There are so many wonderful sponsors who offer such generous prizes. Not to mention the amazing inspiration you will find in the gallery.
Everyone who knows me knows I have a thing for coffee and coffee themed cards as well as other items from decor to attire. But I have a real soft spot for the caffeinated cards.
I am sharing this recent card and will be linking it to the hop link below.
On with the design and ingredients.
Paper: Neenah 80# and Desert Storm. Scraps of orange and green card stock.
Ink/coloring medium: Versafine onyx black. Oxide Distress ink in spiced marmalade and vintage photo and Prisma colored pencils.
Stamps: Stampendous Pumpkin Latte and a big box polka dot background stamp.
Dies: Sizzix impresslit die using the coffee shaker bits as embellishments.
Colored the cup with the distress inks with a stiff dry brush and an aqua brush. The leaves and stems colored with pencils.
Masked off the cup and sentiment then stamped over with the background stamp in second generation style with Oxide inks in spiced marmalade and vintage photo.
Be sure to check out the hop blog link for more fun and inspiration.
Thanks so much for stopping by and as always I appreciate your kind comments. Be sure to subscribe/follow along for future blog posts.
