You are BEE-utiful

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well. I am back at it with another bee card and flower card. This is one of my favorite flower stamps from MFT.

Sharing this recent card and will be linking it to the challenges below.

On with the design and ingredients.

Ingredients:

Paper: Neenah 80#, 110# white and Desert storm and a scrap of black.

Ink/coloring medium: Cracklin Campfire distress ink, Copic markers, Versafine onyx black and Gina K amalgam black.

Stamps: MFT Beautiful Blooms. Bees are from Honey Bee stamps Just BEEcause set. The You are is from a Pink Fresh Studio set and the bee-utiful is from Simon Says Stamp Bee Yourself stamp set.

Dies: MFT matching flower die, MFT stitched ric rac die, Honeybee Stamps matching bee dies and the pail is from Creative Expressions tropical collection on the beach.

Embellishments: Nuvo Crystal glaze tinted with wild honey and squeezed lemonade Distress ink to create the dripping honey from the pail.

The flower was water colored using an aqua brush and the Cracklin Campfire Distress ink. The bees are colored with Copics.

Happy accident…I smooched to hard on the stamp when stamping the You are…so I stamped it again on a scrap of white and made it into a label to cover my mistake. I actually think it looks better.

The bee, flower and pail are all popped up on foam squares.

  1. Super cute card! Love that crackling campfire! It’s one of my faves! Love it when things don’t seem to be going the way you’d expect but they turn out better than expected!
