Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend. I pulled out someplace supplies from my stash to create this cute be card that could be used as an anniversary or sweetheart card.
Sharing this recent card and will be linking it to the challenges below.
On with the design and ingredients.
Ingredients:
Paper: Neenah 80# white. Simon s Stamp gray and a big box yellow card stock.
Ink/coloring medium: bee and bow are Copic colored. The background panel splatter is Distress oxide in squeezed lemonade. Sentiment is Versafine onyx black and a few of the hearts are blending brushed with Distress oxide ink in hickory smoke. Gina K amalgam ink for the bees.
Stamps: Simon Says Stamp – Bee Yourself stamp set. Concord and 9ths bitty burst turn about stamp.
Dies: Confetti heart panel from Momenta. Hero Arts oval infinity die set. MFT tag builder blueprint 6 set for the bow.
Embellishments: Wink of Stella, Nuvo Glitter drops in yellow bird and Nuvo crystal glaze.
Tips on how it was made:
I cut the confetti heart panel. I used the turn about bitty burst stamp to stamp the yellow splatters around. I just used an acrylic block without doing the turn about as I wasn’t concerned with the splatter placement too much. I then glued it flat to the card base. Then took a few of the hearts and distressed them with hickory smoke. I glued then into the spots they were cut from.
I Copic colored the bees. Cut them out with the oval and popped it up on thin foam squares onto the yellow that was glued flat on the black oval. Then black oval is also popped up on thin foam squares.
I took a few of the hearts and colored them with the squeezed lemonade then added the Nuvo glitter drops and spread them around to cover the heart. I also added clear Nuvo crystal glaze to the noses.
I created the bow by taking two hearts and a dot from the MFT tag builder set. I colored it with copics and added wink of Stella to it.
