Thank You Berry Much

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend. The weather has finally cooled down a bit and we spent part of the day at the zoo with out grandsons. It was great to be outdoors for a change. Now I am back in the craft room.

Sharing this recent thank you card and will be linking it to the challenges below.

On with the design and ingredients.

I had colored up these berries a few weeks ago and wasn’t sure what I was going to do with them. I was skimming my stash and saw the Lawn Fawn mug and the shape of it just lended itself to a berry bowl. So I cut it once then flipped it and cut it again to remove the handle. I then ran it through my Big Shot with some fresh plates to smooth it out. I keep a set of clean plates to help with flattening things out such as dried watercolored panels that have warped or new card based that won’t lay flat. It works perfectly for flattening.

Paper:Neenah 80# and 110# white and light blue card stock.

Ink/coloring medium: Zigg Clean Color brush markers, Versafine onyx black, Prize ribbon Distress ink.

Stamps: Paper Trey Ink Berry Best Mom. Berry and matching die. Brutus Monroe sentient from stamp set  Berry Special.

Dies: Lawn Fawn stitched coffee mug turned into berry bowl. Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangles.

Embossing folder: Parklane

Stencil: Kitchen plaid stencil

Embellishments: Wink of Stella
