Have a Tea-riffic Birthday

Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well. It has been forever since I have posted any of my makes. That is because of a home renovation project that took a lot longer than expected. We had all the floors redone after removing all the wall to wall carpet that we had. Basically it was packing up the entire house like we were moving then moving back in.

All I can say is packing up a craft room was quite the experience. I hope I never have to do it again. I am happy to report I have my happy space mostly put back together and I am able to get crafty again. Thankfully just in time for the Coffee Loving Card Maker hop too.

I will share some before and after photos below.

Anyway I am finally happy to be sharing this recent card and will be linking it to the challenges below.

On with the design and ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:

Paper: 80# and 110# Neenah White and Yupo paper.

Ink/coloring medium: Alcohol inks, Versafine onyx black and Distress ink in vintage photo.

Stamps: Sentiment is from The Rabbit Hole Designs – Steeped in Happiness stamp set.

Dies: Hero Arts fancy dies called Tea Party.

I die cut the design from the alcoholed yupo paper and a white card stock and used the alcohol papers to do an inlaid technique. It was a bit time consuming but worth it. I trimmed it down a little and corner rounded the edges. I now have the alcohol die cut piece to create another card later on.

As promised here are the before an after photos of one side of my craft room. On the back wall that isn’t shown I plan to add a couple of tall bookcases that will hold my stamps and dies that are currently temporarily in plastic drawers. I am loving my new floor and how I can roll around freely on it now. I can scoot from cabinet to cabinet to get what I need.

I love challenges in general as it gets the creative juices going and the CLH is always favorite of mine. I love making coffee, tea or cocoa themed cards. I hope to be able to get a few more cards entered. This hop is so much fun. There are so many wonderful prizes offered from the very generous super sponsors.

Be sure to check out the challenge blogs for more fun and inspiration.
