Hello Everyone. Hope you are all well. I have been having so much fun with this mermaid set. I couldn’t resist using it for a coffee card or 2. Because what mermaid doesn’t love coffee…right?
Sharing this recent card and will be linking it to the challenges below.
On with the design and ingredients.
Ingredients:
Paper: Neenah 80# white and desert storm.
Ink/coloring medium: Distress inks in antique linen, cracked pistachio and tumbled glass. Copic markers. Altenew crisp permanent black ink. Versafine sepia.
Stamps: Dare 2B ArtZy – Mermazing. Taylored Expressions build a back grounds – waves
Dies: Taylored Expressions frayed edge stacklets rectangles.
Embellishments: Nuvo crystal glaze. Wink of Stella.
The background was done using distress inks. The elements were Copic colored then fussy cute and popped up on foam squares. The top of the waves are outlined in Wink of Stella and the Heart, Shell and Starfish have Nuvo glaze on them. Oh an I forgot. The coffee written in the sand is a homemade stencil from a MFT coffee and tea set that I created to stencil the word onto the sand.
